OASIS

4/23/24

Gamify ecommerce : by combining Google maps with digital storefronts, better than the interface they have now. Make it more like the Oasis in RP1 (Ready Player 1) where people can walk around in a digital world where your avatar can actually walk into these stores, and order. (e.g. I can log in and either walk or fast travel to Marconis and order in game. Then I can either have it delivered or pick it up myself. This can be done already either online or by phone, but those methods aren't as interactive.)

OASIS DAO Manifesto

The Future of Fair Play, Powered by People

πŸ‘οΈ Vision

We believe the world is long overdue for a new system of competition β€” one that is open, affordable, and built for the 99%, not the privileged few.

The OASIS DAO (Open Autonomous System for Independent Sport) is a global movement to decentralize competitive infrastructure β€” starting with sports, expanding into games, and eventually reshaping how humans organize play, community, and self-expression.

We are not here to patch the old systems.
We are here to replace them.

🎯 Mission

Our mission is to democratize access to competition by building a new kind of league β€” one where:

  • Anyone can play
  • Matchmaking is fair
  • Costs are radically reduced
  • Local businesses benefit
  • Players own their records, rankings, and rivalries

This begins with LeagueMatch, our first dApp.
At its core runs SPIN β€” the Skill-based Player Integration Network β€” a matchmaking algorithm that connects players by skill, location, and availability, dynamically and fairly.

πŸ› οΈ Principles

  1. Access Over Elitism
No more paywalls, gatekeepers, or exclusive clubs. OASIS is for everyone.

  2. Decentralized Infrastructure
Courts, games, matches β€” all coordinated by protocols, not centralized orgs.

  3. Radical Affordability
LeagueMatch aims to make tennis 99% cheaper than the USTA model. We will do for sports what open-source did for software.

  4. Open Rivalry
Competition drives growth β€” but only if it's open, fair, and self-driven.

  5. Incentives That Work
Crypto-native tools allow players, creators, and organizers to earn and own through transparent, on-chain systems.

  6. Local Economic Loops
Every match is an opportunity for local businesses to engage, reward, and thrive. OASIS enables commerce as play.

  7. Player Sovereignty
You own your ELO. You control your history. You are not a product β€” you are the protagonist.

πŸ”„ Our Stack

  • LeagueMatch β€” The first dApp under OASIS, focused on real-world 1v1 competition.
  • SPIN Algorithm β€” Decentralized matchmaking engine optimizing for fairness, availability, and skill.
  • NFT Microequity Marketplace β€” Small businesses tokenize tiny shares to fund and reward players and communities.
  • OASIS Token (future) β€” A governance and incentive layer to power the ecosystem sustainably.

πŸš€ The Endgame

We’re not just reinventing tennis.
We’re building the backbone of the post-USTA, post-NBA, post-ESPN world β€” one where players create leagues, fans fund heroes, and neighborhoods run on play.

No more permission.
No more bureaucracy.
Just the purest form of human competition, rebuilt for the 21st century.

This is the OASIS.
Come build it with us.
